Publicity Stunt or Real?

Hi all! So I was blog hopping this morning and found That Girl Emily blog. Apparently it's been on the news, and word is spreading. The premise of the blog is that a woman is keeping a diary of finding out her husband is cheating, then does creative things to get revenge.

Funny stuff :-)

If you have a chance, go browse the blog, then tell me what you think: Is it real or some kind of publicity stunt?

And, uh, don't the news organizations have better things to report on?

Wow, I didn't read all of it, but I have to say, I can think of much better things to spend 700 dollars on than a bill board....but it does make a point.

I think the video would break my heart everytime I watched it. 14 times, I can't tolerate that much wine in one evening.

Hey Cele, the blog has a Chick Lit feel to me. I'm leaning toward it being a publicity stunt. But if it's not, then I give the women credit for originality.

There was something similar to this in Phoenix several years ago, only it was a husband and a wife and they were posting their messages on bus stop signs. I think it was all an advertising campaign, but I don't remember real clearly.

The video never came through while I was looking at the blog. If it's real, I feel terrible for her.

Ktzmom, So it has been done before? If it is true, I do feel sorry for the woman too.

This is one way to work out all those aggressive tendencies.

I think I'd have spent my $700 on a downpayment for a new apartment.
Maybe a therapist.

Marie, maybe this is therapy for her? But yeah, $700,00 for revenge is a lot of money that might be better spent elsewhere.
