Season Premiere Dud

I was so excited to accidentally stumble onto the Gray's Anatomy TV show this summer! I loved it. Dr. Burke is yummy. Dr. McDreamy just makes me want to slap him, but whatever. Christina so does NOT deserve Dr. Burke...

I totally got sucked in. I was so looking foward to the season premiere last night.

And...YAWN. I was bored. Flashbacks, scenes with people sprawled on the floor next to the heart broken grieving Izzy...Whatever. Boring.

Where's the tension? Where's Dr. Burke? Why isn't he dumping Christina and calling me???

Oh well, maybe the next show will pick up the pace.

Anyone else watch the show? Am I the only one disappointed? And shouldn't I be writing my book not chatting about a TV show?

Haven't watched Grey's Anatomy, though it's my daughter's favorite show.

But, I share your boredom on season premieres. Watched CSI last night and turned it off after twenty minutes. Yawn........

And who wants to WRITE???

I'm with Maureen, I've not watched, and I can echo her comments.

I caught Jericho the other night, Ducky had been keen on seeing it. Ho Hum...

The shows I do like - except NCIS, which had a great premiere Tuesday - changed their air times this season. I don't tend to watch after 9pm. So I probably won't watch Cold Case this year, that leaves Ghost Whisperer tonight. hmmm we'll see.

Maureen, CSI was boring too? That's just sad...And I didn't write, just edited the finished manuscript. Not too hard. But weren't you the one that pushed me to write a certain proposal?

Cele, I have the same problem, I don't stay up late to watch a lot of shows. And moving shows confuses me. I'm not much of a TV freak, so I guess it doesn't take much for a show to lose me.

I do like Two and a Half Men though. That show cracks me up.

I watched Grey's for the first time and yeah, I was disappointed. Too much sitting around angsting, I thought. I'll give it another chance, though, because everyone raves about it.

I'm a total CSI junkie and...okay, I'll admit I have a bit of a reality show addiction. Can you say, America's Next Top Model?? LOL - I love those bitches! Oops, can I say bitches here or do I have to say Witches? ;-)

Kate, Kate, Kate, such language! Why I am shocked!

LOL!

Reality TV? Now I really am shocked! Okay, I do like Dancing With the Stars but I don't get to watch it very often. I haven't watched Top Model, I'll have to give it a try!

Oh, Kate......tsk tsk tsk... reality TV?? Don't you know that's just another way of trying to get rid of writers???

Cele....I LOVE NCIS...Mark Harmon better be coming back, too. And Love Ghost Whisperer, though I'm pretty ticked that they got rid of Andrea..

Jen, YES, that was me, pushing you to write that proposal!!! Much more fun to push others to write than to actually write myself!!

I, oh hum, have to admit I watch reality TV. It took probably five seasons to even watch Survivor. I had to go to England to get hooked on Big Brother. I love Rockstar, but they picked the wrong one. And I love Ghost Hunters - what a disfunctional family.

I did watch the Cold Case premiere... ho, hum... Ghost Whisperer was good, and I am with Maureen killing off Andrea was not good. I was hoping they'd keep her around on the metaphysical side of things.

Ghost Whisperer, NCIS, Dancing With the Stars -- I am so there with you all.

Oddly, though, it was my DH who got me hooked on DWS!! (and that's =not= Designer Shoe Warehouse.)

And now that DH is getting his hair cut professionally (I did it for 30 yrs), he comes home looking an awful lot like Mark Harmon!! Ni--ice. :-)

As for GH, I was bummed about losing Andrea. The actress (name?) was guest host for 2 weeks on Ebert & Roper film reviews, and said she'd be back for guest appearances. I'm not sure if that was just for the season opener, or if she'll be a "regular" ghost. But that would be cool. (Even if they did show that she had officially 'crossed over')

Since DH gets up at 4:30 AM--and I along with him--we record everything, no matter what time it's on. Anyone ever watch Late Late Night with Craig Ferguson? The monologue alone is worth it!
