Learn How To Promote Yourself!
I am terrible at self-promotion. Everyone knows it. It's time I learned how to promote in a way that is comfortable for me. So I'm taking the online class of a good friend of mine, Louise Knott Ahern. I worked with Louise when I was Co-President of the Orange County Chapter of RWA. She is truly gifted at promotion. I saw first hand her innovative ideas on promoting events for OCC. Not only did she have the ideas, but she taught the OCC Board of Directors the skills to implement the ideas.

I find it so much easier to praise other people.
I'm truly my own worse critic. I may not expect perfection but I strive for it.
I could never promote myself. That would be soooo difficult.

Louise is so amazing at what she does! I can't wait for her class. I always feel like a puppy at her heels. "What're we going to do now, Weez? Huh? Huh?"

Marie, I'm with you. Author need to promote themselves, I'm told. But I always feel really weird about it.
Cele, thanks for spreading the word! I'm excited about Louise's class. I'm just in awe of her talent, and she's one of the nicest women I know.
Michele, LOL! As talented as Louise is, let's not underestimate your own incredible skills! (And "hi" to you too :-)
