What's Hits Your Funny Bone?
I'm blogging over at MURDER SHE WRITES today about writing humor.
Which got me thinking--what's the funniest books you've ever read? I've read so many it's hard to think of one. I'm going to go with Susan Elizabeth Phillip's NOBODY'S BABY BUT MINE. A definite case of the jock vs. the brain. Both of them had preconceived ideas of what a jock and brain were, and it was hilarious to watch them find out the truth about each other.
You?

Recently I read Motor Mouth by Janet Evanovich which was stupidly funny.
I haven't gotten to read your blog from yesterday at MSW yet, because of work. Darn, I will get to it later today. I always enjoy your insights.
I'm not sure I can point out the funniest book I've read. Janet Evanovich does make me laugh when I read Stephanie Plum, but it is becoming too rote.
My most recent favorite funny book(s) haven't been published yet, but I think they rival Evanovich and are laugh out loud (several times) funny. I think they could rival Plum. Watch for these three words... Jenny T. Partridge.
What say you Jen?
I'm very eclectic in what I read. Still, I love different author's for different reasons.
I agree that Motor Mouth was stupidly funny but so enjoyable. No one makes me laugh like Janet Evanovich. All her books, Stephanie Plum and the re-released romances, always make me laugh.
Dur and Marie--Janet's always good for a fun read!
Cele, Jenny T Partridge is going to be a huge hit! She's an original!
