Book is Done and Hubby Makes my Day!

I'm back!

The book is with my editor right now and I am free! Okay, not free. There will be revisions, and I have another book to write.

I'm afraid to Tempt Fate because I have no idea what my editor will think of this book. But I'll say this: The book surprised the hell out of me with a twist or two. And I got it done faster than I expected. But the verdict is still out on whether that's a good thing or bad thing.

So today was my first Officially Free Day. I had some shopping to do and all morning I was grumbling to myself that I'd have to put gas in the car.

Normally my husband puts gas in the cars. Yes I'm spoiled. But hey, I do stuff for him! But still...he's been sick for a few days (he's all better now) and I'm not so spoiled that I'd ask him to put gas in the car.

Sure I THOUGHT about it, but I managed to remember he was sick.

So this morning I decided to GET OVER IT and put gas in the car, then go do my errands. I gather up my stuff, get in the car, turn it on and...

THERE'S A FULL TANK OF GAS!

Seriously spoiled.

It took me a good ten minutes to puzzle out when he did that. But the point is, he never said anything, he just did it. For me. It totally made my day! That's what love is, you know?

What's something that made your day?

Now that I have some breathing room, I'll try it post regularly for a while.

Congrats on finishing and delivering your book to your editor.

A call from my niece or nephew makes my day.

What makes my day? Knowing I don't have to pump my own gas. Oh, crap I'm going to Frisco next month so I will have to find some one to teach me how.

New book oh kewl.

Cele, can't you take someone with you who knows how to pump gas? I can do it, but I just don't like to!

Yay! For the book being finished! :-)

I love it when my husband does little stuff for me like that, too. It gives me the warm fuzzies.

Thanks Michele, and thank you for your help on the book!

It really is the little things that keep us appreciating our husbands.
